Our Mission

  • Liberty Middle School’s After-School Programs mission is to expand the opportunity for Liberty students to participate in high-quality educational, recreational, cultural, and community enrichment programs after the regular school day. We strive to provide safe, supervised environments for children and youth that increase school and community connectedness, academic achievement, physical activity and social/life skills. 

 To fulfill this mission, Liberty’s After-School Program will: 

  • Support student academic achievement 
  • Provide interesting and engaging activities that will attract students into supportive groups and into the broader school community 
  • Teach life lessons such as responsibility, respect for others, teamwork, sportsmanship, goal setting, anger management and hard work
  • Provide a safe haven for youth during after-school hours 
  • Build competency and self-confidence 
  • Provide relationships with committed and caring adults and
  • FOSTER a fun and joy-filled environment

Our Hours

  • Monday - Friday | 2:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. * See Calendar on the After School Website
  • Late bus days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. The late bus schedule is only available on your child's Blackboard account.
  • Tuesdays and Fridays are not late bus days. Parent pick up is the available option on these days.
  • Please use Door 8 for parent pick up.

Funding for this program comes from the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and the Fairfax County School Board.
