Student Services
Our Mission
The mission of the school counseling program at Liberty Middle School is to provide services that meet the varied needs of students in seventh and eighth grade. Counselors are responsible for implementing strategies that will enhance the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. All students will participate in an age-appropriate, sequential school counseling program that is based on the National Model of School Counseling.
The counseling services will also be aligned with the Virginia Standards of School Counseling, Fairfax County K-12 School Counseling Program standards, and the mission of Liberty Middle School. Through collaboration with community agencies, faculty, and parents, our students will acquire the knowledge and life skills that are necessary for a successful transition to high school.
