Truth Initiative Vape Program

Fairfax County Government and Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) have partnered with Truth Initiative to offer the free ‘quit vaping’ text-message program This is Quitting, designed specifically for teens and young adults. This program is tailored by age group to give appropriate recommendations about quitting the use of vape devices. Please click here for the press release and more information.

This is Quitting® Opt-In instructions for Student Participants and Staff “Testers”:

Students:  Young people in the Fairfax community who want to quit vaping can enroll in This is Quitting by texting “VapeFreeFFX” to 88709. When they opt-in, they will need to provide a name and age (between ages 12-24) so that they can get fully enrolled in the program to receive content.
